Work experience program for junior high school students held at SURUGA-YA MAIN STORE SURUGA-YA Bldg.

As part of our contribution to the local community and our commitment to nurturing future talent, we hosted a three-day work experience program at SURUGA-YA MAIN STORE SURUGA-YA Bldg for students from two junior high schools in our hometown of Shizuoka City.

The students challanges various tasks, including displaying products at the store and supporting e-commerce operations. 
Though initially nervous, they actively engaged in the work under the careful guidance of our employees.

We received a lot of positive feedbacks from the students. Comments such as, "I learned a lot, including about e-commerce operations," "It was a fun three days, with the kind guidance and fun works," and "The atmosphere was great. The work was explained to us clearly." The students appeared to learn about both the joys and challenges of working through their experience at SURUGA-YA.

Based in Shizuoka Prefecture, SURUGA-YA will continue to provide opportunities for learning and experience for regional contribution and for the children who will be in charge of the future.
